On Wednesday the 29th of January we have a practical session on Making Films with your Mobile Phone. Since the introduction of the first mobile phones with built-in cameras in 2000, they have developed at pace to the Apple 16's and Samsung 24's we have in 2025. These modern devices have built-in film making tools now, theyre very clever and most people have a smartphone in their pocket these days with the ability to make some pretty decent films with them. Coupled with free video editing tools like iMovie, Adobe Express and Splice you can make a pretty decent movie - with some basic techniques. We will cover these basic techniquesithe session , and in the second half, make a film using your own phone. Two Things Before Next Week - Make sure you have about half a dozen clips you've taken on your phone that are stored in your photo library and your phone is fully charged up. We open at 7:00 and start at 7:30. And if you'd like to come along as a guest please do, we are based at Higham Village Hall next to St. Johns Church (BB12 9EU for sat navs). You can park on the lane outside and there's a brew and biscuits at half time and plenty of time to chat with members and other guests during the evening. See you there!
